Flow to renewable energy
Setting a clear example of values-led action.
Supporting Kerith Community Church with their Energy Contract Review.
Kerith Community Church wanted their energy use to reflect their values – transparent and mission-driven with a focus on renewable solutions.
With multiple sites and fragmented contracts, managing energy was complex. We brought everything into order, secured a single traceable renewable energy supply, and created clarity and confidence, freeing the team to focus on what matters most while making meaningful sustainability progress.

The challenge
Kerith Community Church operates across multiple sites with several electricity and gas meters, all while pursuing an ambitious journey to greatly reduce their energy and carbon impact. A key priority was securing a fully traceable renewable energy contract to ensure their energy use aligned with their sustainability goals. However, their energy portfolio was fragmented, with different suppliers, varying contract end dates, and some meters out of contract, creating inefficiencies and uncertainty. Previous experiences with other consultants had also left them cautious, so building trust and providing clear, reliable guidance was essential.
What we did
We began by organising their entire energy portfolio, consolidating all contracts into a single group arrangement to simplify management and create a clear, coordinated picture. We then led a competitive energy tender, reviewing results carefully to ensure full transparency and value. Finally, we negotiated and secured a renewable energy contract that met their sustainability and traceability requirements, bringing all meters under one streamlined arrangement to make energy administration more efficient and reliable.
How it helped
With a single, traceable renewable energy contract in place, our client now has clarity and confidence in their energy purchasing strategy. Time spent on administration has been significantly reduced, allowing teams to focus on their core mission. At the same time, they’ve achieved meaningful emissions and cost savings, aligning their operations with their goals of reducing their energy and carbon impact and setting a clear example of practical, values-led action.
